Great turn-out for this past weekend’s Free Agent/ Rockstar Clinic at Santa Maria BMX with Cristian Becerine. It’s the first time Cristian has made a stop at Santa Maria BMX and undoubtedly plans to make another trip back this summer, as all of the kids had a good time. Cristian heads to Northern California for two Clinic stops next weekend. Saturday, April 27th, he will be at Bighorn BMX between 11am-1pm and on Sunday, April 28th he’ll be at Elkhorn BMX from 11am-1pm as well.

Clinics are 2 hours in length. Admission: $35 (pre-registration) $40 (walk-on/sign-up day-of) Walk-on sign-ups and goodie bag pick-up are on the day of 1 hour before clinic start time. Bighorn BMX - Sun Valley/Reno, NV – Saturday, April 27th, 2013, 11am-1pm

The Free Agent distributor in Peru sent in a photo of Nilton Gonzales, who is the leading 14 year-old rider in Peru. He is racing the national championship this week.
He races on a stock 2013 FA team Limo right out of the box.  Keep an eye on him in the future.

It’s been a busy few weeks for both Crisitan Becerine and Maris Strombergs.  Maris made a quick trip to France last week to race rounds 1 & 2 of the European Championships and came away with back to back wins both days.  Maris said he enjoyed racing back in Europe so much, that he plans to do a few more rounds including the Latvian rounds later this summer.  Who knows, there could be a possible European Championships Title run in his future.  Crisitan Becerine keeps a busy schedule whether he’s racing or conducting Clinics.  Currently, he’s in the “thick” of the schedule and charging through.  Cristian had a great turn out in Boulder City for a Clinic earlier this month and this past weekend made the trip to Oregon for the USABMX Great Northwest Nationals, which he won both days.  This coming Sunday, April 21^st, Crisitan will be back at it at the Santa Maria Track for a Clinic from 12-2p.m.  Check it out if he’s in your area.   As a participant, you can always count on loads of free products from our generous team sponsors.  As always, a note of thanks to our sponsors:  #rockstarenergy #fox #maxxis #odi #kmc #Weinmann #Insight #Tioga #Shimano

Boulder BMX - Boulder City, NV – Saturday, April 6th, 2013, 10am-Noon

Over the weekend the team made the 3rd stop on the USABMX tour in Desoto, Texas. Maris Strombergs, David Herman & Cristian Becerine all braved the cold weather while also riding well and making the main event on Saturday. Cristian placed 3rd in Vet, Maris grabbed 6th in Elite and David Herman left with a solid 3rd in Elite. Sunday morning temperatures were even tougher for the guys. Cristian rode to another 3rd place, Maris made the main but couldn’t quite put it together . The weekend was dominated again by Redline’s Sam Willoughby – congrats to him. Next up for the team, Cristian Becerine will be conducting a clinic in Boulder City, Nevada on Saturday, April 6th, from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. — for more information on the team, please check us out on freeagentbmx.com (photo bmxnews.com)
